Step One

Site Evaluation

Our New Home Sales Consultant will work with you to ensure that your chosen site is suitable for you and your intended new home. We offer a no-obligation site evaluation where we will visit you on-site to discuss the pros and cons of your section from a building perspective, assisting you in your journey towards building your new home.

This will involve helping you assess how well the site will accommodate your new home, possible hidden excavation or landscaping costs, estimated build costs and how well the site is suited for the home that you have in mind.

Step Two

Concept and Planning

During this stage we further discuss your home ideas and work with you to develop preliminary drawings for your new home. We take pride in delivering a unique home that is suited to your specific lifestyle, working closely with you to ensure that we understand your vision and needs.

Our experienced in-house architecture design team are dedicated to delivering a custom-tailored design that ticks all your boxes, incorporating all of your desired features into your new home. We stay in touch throughout the process to avoid any potential setbacks along the way, giving you the opportunity to review your preliminary drawings and keep us on the right track, saving you time and money.

Step Three

Detailing and Specifications

Once you are satisfied with your preliminary drawings, we start to focus on the finer details and design specifications for your new home. This is where your house becomes your home.

We work with you to finalise the design specifications for your home, which includes visiting our suppliers to look at kitchen design, along with appliance and bathroom fittings. This will allow you to get an idea of how your home will look like once its completed before the build process has even begun.

Step Four

Consent Drawings

The construction drawings will be completed and we will provide you with a full, fixed-price quotation and summary. Once this quote has been accepted, we will prepare a Master Builder’s full build contract for you to sign, as well as completing a Registered Master Builder’s guarantee application.

The construction drawings will be submitted to Council for building consent once the contract has been signed and the deposit has been paid. It takes approximately four weeks for the construction drawings to be processed through Council before the build can commence.

Step Five

Building Your Home

Construction will commence once plans have been approved by Council and we will assign you to our Operations Manager who will keep in touch with you throughout the build process, making sure that your build runs smoothly.

We provide each of our clients with access to Buildertrend, our online platform which gives regular updates to track how your build is progressing along with full visibility of any changes you’ve made and associated costs.

The construction schedule is as follows:

  10. Final Fittings
  11. Landscaping
  12. Handover

Step Six

Handover

All the hard work has been done, now it’s time for you to move in to your brand new home! Once we have handed over the keys, we will keep in touch over the next few months to make sure that you are enjoying life in your new home and everything is running smoothly.
